The town’s famous association with cheese making goes back to the 11th century so we expect to see some in the market. In the afternoon we visit Wells with perhaps the most beautiful of all English cathedrals.

Chichester Cathedral & Festival of Flowers - Saturday is Market Day in the West Sussex County Town of Chichester and it’s also Chichester Cathedral’s 9th Festival of Flowers. The theme in 2012 is 'Every Book Tells a Story' with more than 60 book titles being interpreted with more than 50,000 flowers throughout the Cathedral. Created by 150 flower arrangers and more than 300 volunteers, the Cathedral will welcome many thousands of visitors over the period of the Festival.
