The beautiful Black Forest, which is not only Germany’s most varied holiday region, but also one of the largest and probably best known areas of Germany. With its spruce and fir covered mountains, gentle valleys, and spectacular gorges carved by the River Rhine, waterfalls, timber farmhouses, extravagant traditional costumes, hot spas, cuckoo clocks and, of course, the famous gateaux. This captivating, scenic tour is based in the delightful village of Schonach im Schwarzwald, in the heart of the Black Forest, and home to the world’s biggest cuckoo clock.
