A fabulous seven day holiday to enjoy the welcome of Killarney and opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery around the famous Ring of Kerry, together with the exquisite beauty of the Dingle Peninsula.

Our Itinerary

Saturday We collect you from home to join your tour coach and travel to Fishguard for the sailing to Rosslare and our overnight half board accommodation at the Treacys Hotel, Waterford.

Sunday We travel towards Killarney, with an en route visit to Cobh, situated on the Cork harbour. Famous as the point of embarkation for millions of Irish emigrants travelling away from Ireland during the 1800s and 1900s, it was also the last stop of the Titanic. You will enjoy free time in Cobh. Consider visiting the magnificent St Coleman's Cathedral, or the award winning Titanic Experience, an exhibition in the original White Star line building! (Entry not included) before continuing to Killarney and the Gleneagle Hotel for the next four nights dinner, bed & breakfast.

Monday Today we have a full day guided tour of the beautiful Ring of Kerry. We follow the coast road round the Iveragh Peninsula, one hundred miles of spectacular seascapes and outstanding views.

Tuesday A day at leisure in Killarney. Browse amongst the shops, take a water bus cruise around the lake or a ride on the traditional jaunting cars.

Wednesday A fantastic scenic day trip to the Dingle Peninsula. We travel via Castlemaine past Inch Beach, where some of Ryan’s Daughter was filmed before arriving in Dingle one of the most popular little fishing ports with an array of fine restaurants and pubs - ideal for our lunch stop. We then enjoy some of the best coastal scenery in Ireland travelling along the most westerly drive in Europe known as the Slea Head Drive. Marvel at the Atlantic Coast as you travel on this spectacular road which hugs the western shoreline. Enjoy great views of the Blasket Islands known as the ‘next parish to America’.

Thursday Following breakfast we check out of our hotel and travel to Midleton for a fascinating visit to the Old Jameson Distillery. Set on 15 acres and beautifully restored, this is where the true heart of Irish whiskey beats. The old distillery is a unique experience with some of the buildings dating back to 1795. Take a journey through history and see the old kilns, mills and malting, water wheel and old warehouses. We continue to our half board overnight accommodation in Wexford.

Friday After an early breakfast we drive to Rosslare harbour to board the early morning ferry to Fishguard and complete the journey home.
