Holland enjoys a pristine landscape, with beautiful countryside and amazing landmarks which we will have a chance to explore whilst visiting this fantastic country. The highlight of our holiday is a visit to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens. These spring gardens are only open for a few months each year, but they have become one of the most popular flower gardens in the world. We will be able to wander through the gardens and soak up the amazing floral displays, whilst also enjoying the captivating atmosphere.

OUR ITINERARY

Friday We collect you from your home to join your tour coach and for our Chennel crossing to Calais. We then travel through Belgium before entering Holland and on to our hotel, arriving early evening.

Saturday and Sunday: We have included the following excursions.

The Bulbfields & Keukenhof – After breakfast we depart for a visit to the world famous Keukenhof Gardens. This is the Dutch Master Growers showpiece and rightly draws visitors from all around the world to marvel at this spectacular sight.

Volendam and Zaanse Schans – Our excursion today includes a visit to a clog and cheese maker and the Zaanse Schans, offering a preserved glimpse of what it was like to live in Zaan the 18th and 19th centuries. Some of the remaining windmills are also open to the public. (small fee payable locally). Also, a visit to the quaint and picturesque old fishing village of Volendam where many of the local inhabitants still wear the traditional costumes.

Monday We depart after breakfast for our return journey to Calais and our Channel crossing. Our onward journey continues to Wiltshire where your taxi will be waiting to return you to your home.
