This scenic tour takes in the beautiful Killarney, the stunning Dingle Bay and the spectacular Ring of Kerry. Not only is the area’s breath-taking natural landscape an attraction in itself, it is also home to some of Ireland’s most popular tourist attractions, including the characterful Killarney jaunting car, horse and carriage rides and world-famous Fungie the Dolphin, Dingle’s most famous resident.

ITINERARY

SUNDAY - This morning we collect you from home, bringing you to meet your tour coach as it makes its way to our included ferry crossing to Rosslare, once there we make our way to our overnight hotel in Waterford, there will be dinner on arrival.

MONDAY – Following breakfast we will continue our journey to Killarney and to the Gleneagle Hotel where we will be staying for the next 4 nights. There will be time to settle in before dinner.

TUESDAY – This morning, we enjoy a 1-hour guided tour of the Killarney Brewing Company where we enjoy a fun and informative tour consisting of an introductory film, a walking tour of the brewery and beer tasting with storytelling at the end. From here, we step back in time and experience one of Ireland’s most traditional modes of transport, on a jaunting car horse and carriage ride through the Killarney National Park to Ross Castle. We enjoy some time here before returning to Killarney town centre where we spend the rest of day at leisure.

WEDNESDAY - Today we enjoy a stunning drive around the mystical and unspoilt Ring of Kerry, one of the most spectacular circular driving routes in Ireland. The drive provides us with an insight into the area’s ancient heritage and allows us to marvel at the fantastic views of its stunning scenery. During our journey, we spend time at leisure in the elegant seaside town of Kenmare, the jewel in the Ring of Kerry.

THURSDAY- This morning, we journey along Dingle Bay to Dingle Town, where you will have some time at leisure to explore this authentic Irish town full of pubs, quaint shops and eateries.

FRIDAY - This morning we bid farewell to Killarney and begin our journey to our overnight hotel in Wexford.

SATURDAY - Following a final breakfast in Ireland, we will head home via our crossing before continuing to Wiltshire where you will meet your taxi to take you home.

Located 1 mile from Killarney town centre, the excellent Gleneagle Hotel is one of Killarney's largest hotels and overlooks the mountains of Killarney National Park. All 224 bedrooms are modern with a bright colour scheme and equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The large traditional restaurant has plenty of natural daylight and there is a large bar with plenty of seating where entertainment takes place, as well as a smaller, more relaxed bar and a few quiet lounge areas. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and spa bath. There is also a regular shuttlebus to/from Killarney town centre (small charge). The hotel also has a lift.
