A short break with excursions to interest everyone. We take in North Devon through visits to interesting attractions which combined with an excellent hotel, making this a trip you don’t want to miss.

OUR ITINERARY 

SUNDAY – We collect you from your home area in the morning, bringing you to meet your tour coach as it makes it’s way into Devon and to Barnstable.

MONDAY – Today is Market Day and we have the morning free to explore the town with its elegant Georgian buildings before our afternoon visit to the ancient seaport of Bideford, delightfully set on the banks of the River Torridge.

TUESDAY – Our first stop this morning is the picturesque resorts of Lynmouth where we have time to explore the narrow street and maybe take the cliff railway to the twin village of Lynmouth where we have time to explore the narrow streets and maybe take the cliff railways to the twin village of Lynton. From here we make our way through scenic ‘Little Switzerland’, as the region is known, to the lovely village of Dunster, with its famous castle and octagonal Yarn Market. We have time in the popular seaside resort of Minehead and our return takes us through Exford and the Exmoor National Park.

WEDNESDAY – This excursion takes us to the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe, known as the jewel in the North Devon Coast. Discover a quaint quayside and harbour, whitewashed villas, lovely beaches, coastal paths and an abundance of cafes and shops.

THURSDAY – Today we bid farewell to our hotel and begin our journey home.
