Our fantastic packaged tour takes us to the beautiful Black Forest, the setting of many Grimm brothers’ fairytale, where picturesque villages full of half-timbered houses dot the landscape and cuckoo clocks keep an eye on the time.

OUR ITINERARY 

SUNDAY – This morning we collect you from your home address, bringing you to meet your tour coach as it makes its way for our included Channel Crossing. Once we have arrived, we will continue our journey to our overnight hotel.

MONDAY – Following breakfast in our overnight hotel we will board the coach and continue our journey into Germany until we arrive at the Bad Dürrheim and to our hotel, we will have time to settle in before dinner.

TUESDAY – Today we head South into the most northerly region of Switzerland. Here we experience the drama and beauty of the magnificent Rhine Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in Europe. We enjoy a 30-minute boat trip with an audio guide that departs from Schlössli Wörth and sails close to the central rock for which the falls are so famous. We then make our way to the nearby medieval town of Schaffhausen to explore at leisure.

WEDNESDAY – Today we drive towards Lake Constance and visit Mainau Island, known for its botanical gardens, the Castle of the Teutonic Order, its butterfly house and Palm House. Following a visit here we travel the short distance to Constance, a town of great historical relevance and the most important on Lake Constance, to spend some time at leisure.

THURSDAY – Today is spent relaxing in our fabulous spa resort, making the most of the lovely leisure facilities. We might like to stretch our legs and explore our surrounds – the town centre is less than 10 minutes’ walk away.

FRIDAY – We visit the north shore of Lake Titisee, one of Germany’s prettiest lakes, and join the ‘Titus’ – built as a replica of a Roman gallery – for an enjoyable cruise, before exploring the town of Titisee-Neustadt itself. Following this we begin our journey to our overnight hotel.

SATURDAY – Following our overnight stay we will board the coach and head for our included channel crossing, once back in England we will continue our journey till we arrive back in Wiltshire.
